My Life as a DiamondI can feel myself changing, rearranging. Becoming something flinty and hard with too many facets, facets that reveal nothing but your own dim reflection staring back at you a hundred times over. This is the last thing I wanted. Growing jaded, faded, traded like some glass bauble, handled like some volatile thing that could shatter, that could slip shards under your skin where no hand, no metal instrument, no machine could remove me. | About me? Hmm, well I've a sardonic sense of humor, I can laugh at anything and everything and do so often. I've had my nose buried in a book for as long as I can remember. I truly believe that a blank sheet of paper is one of the most beautiful things in the world. Math is the bane of my existence, my posture is impeccable, and I'm often mistaken for a little boy from behind, much to my dismay. High heels are my shoe of choice, I curse like a sailor, and I find the smell of old books to be positively euphoric. Ignorance terrifies me so I try my best to shake the blinders from my head. But, really, I'm just like everyone else seeing as how all originality has perished. |

Did but our bodies touch.
And laughed upon his breast to think
Beast gave beast as much.
